Updates
The upgrade was successful. EPP services were restored as of 10h54 UCT and accessible on epp.registry.africa. There will be smaller scheduled updates to come but we don’t expect any major disruptions. We will continue monitoring.
The Registry Service Provider (DNS Africa Ltd) for Registry Africa will be performing an upgrade on the .AFRICA gTLD systems on 10 December 2020 from 06h00 UTC until 18h00 UTC.
AFFECTED SERVICES
During this time the EPP system will be offline, and the WHOIS and RDAP systems may experience intermittent downtime.
IS THERE A ROLL BACK PLAN ?
Yes, we have a roll back plan. We have sufficient time within the downtime window to rollback the system should we encounter any major, unforeseen difficulties.
